Yvenna is ringed primarily by rocky hills and sweeping grassy plains (reminiscent of Scotland) where shepherds and their flocks of sheep roam.
- To the southwest: the rocky hills give way to fertile plains where small towns and large farms grow the crops that make their way to market in Yvenna.
- To the east and southeast: the rocky hills continue. The terrain gives way to pot-bellied valleys etched out by shallow rivers stony rivers, scattered copses of gnarled trees.
- To the south: the rocky hills give way to moorlands, and beyond that to rolling forests.
